Max Rad’s most recent release, ‘Back Around’ is an emotive, laid-back electronic track that allows his unique vocal to sit above excellent production. Wobbly synths, jazzy harmonic choices and a funky, late-on-the-beat drum pattern combine into an impressive display of musicianship. He explains that the new single is about “the feeling of not being able to get out of a rut that you find yourself in - people not treating you the way you would like to be treated, or perhaps an emotion that weighs you down”.
